Reason For Arsenal vs Leicester City Betting Tips

Arsenal got their competitive campaign underway on Sunday as they faced off with Premier League champions Chelsea in the Community Shield at Wembley. For the second time in three months Arsene Wenger’s side walked out victorious at Wembley, beating a rather lacklustre Chelsea on penalties after a 1-1 draw in 90 minutes.
It was new boy Sead Kolasinac who got the equalising goal for The Gunners, cancelling out Victor Moses opener with eight minutes to spare. It’s probably not the new signing that many expected to score, but Alexandre Lacazette will be hoping to make amends on Friday and find the net for his new club.
Arsenal’s pre-season has gone fairly well, with defeats to Chelsea and Sevilla being balanced out by victories over Benfica, Western Sydney Wanderers, and Sydney FC, alongside a penalty win over Champions League nemesis’ Bayern Munich.

Leicester haven’t been great in pre-season to be honest, although they did end their friendly campaign with a 2-1 win over Borussia Monchengladbach. Other than that they have lost to Liverpool, Wolves, and Burton, beating Luton and drawing against West Brom and MK Dons.
The 2015/16 Premier League champions have made some potentially useful acquisitions over the summer, bringing in defender Harry Maguire from Hull and holding midfielder Vicente Iborra. Kelechi Iheanacho has also come in from Manchester City, although he is fighting for fitness ahead of this curtain raiser.
Arsenal should have enough about them to claim the three points at home, especially since they have won their last ten home games against Leicester and won 11 of their final 13 Premier League home games last season. However, there are still big questions over their defensive strength, and with Leicester scoring in five of their last six away days at the end of last season, we’re expecting them to find the net.
Six of these teams’ last eight meetings at Arsenal have seen Arsenal Win and Both Teams to Score, so backing that outcome again at 15/8 looks a good choice, alongside a 3-1 correct score predictions at 11/1.
As far as our correct goalscorer predictions go, it’s hard to look beyond Arsenal’s new big money signing Alexandre Lacazette. The Frenchman got 28 goals in 30 appearances in Ligue 1 last season and looks a great price to score on his Premier League debut. Meanwhile, Leicester will call upon the talents of Jamie Vardy again, who has scored in three of his last four matches against Arsenal and enjoyed a great second half of the season last year.
